After-sales Support
1. What materials can the C1 laser engrave and cut?
C1 can engrave and cut a wide range of materials, including wood, MDF, acrylic, leather, paper, cardboard, fabric, cork, rubber, glass, stone, ceramics, and more.
It is an ideal machine for creative making, gifts, custom products, and small production.
2. Does it cut metal?
CO₂ lasers at this power level cannot directly cut metal, but they can engrave coated or anodized metal surfaces. If you require deep metal engraving or cutting, consider adding a fiber or IR laser solution.
3. Does the C1 require assembly?
No. The machine is delivered fully assembled and ready to use.
Just connect power, install the software, perform focusing, and you can start working immediately.
4. What software does it support?
C1 is compatible with popular laser software including LightBurn and other standard laser engraving applications, making operation simple and intuitive for both beginners and experienced users.
5. How does smoke and odor get handled?
CO₂ laser engraving produces smoke and odor, depending on the materials being processed.
We recommend connecting the machine to an external exhaust system or using an air purifier for indoor use.
6. Is it safe to use at home or in a studio?
Yes.
The C1 features a closed Class-1 laser design with safety monitoring, viewing window protection, and emergency stop features, making it suitable for home, studio, office, and educational environments.
7. How long does the CO₂ laser tube last, and is it replaceable?
On average, the laser tube lasts 2,000 – 4,000 working hours, depending on power level, duty cycle, and cooling conditions.
It is also user-replaceable, and replacement tubes are easy to obtain.
